St. Francis of Assisi Church holds its 10th annual carnival on Saturday, October 5. A Blessing of the Animals takes place at 11:00 am. The carnival runs from noon to 6:00 on the church grounds at 35 Norfield Road.
The carnival features bungee, a rock climbing wall, inflatables, and a hayride. A $20 bracelet provides unlimited rides. There are also about two dozen games of chance for children and adults, a silent auction, and a raffle. Raffle tickets are $10 a piece or three for $25. They will also be sold at church after masses.
For your musical entertainment, enjoy the jazz piano stylings of Karl Schulz, the Fairfield School of Rock, and the Furious George Band.
