PowerTime Gold Coast Boat Club is an inclusive shared boating club that gives members the freedom of regular, flexible time on the water on a luxury powerboat with all the comforts to make your extended time on the water enjoyable, comfortable and safe.
Imagine the convenience of leaving work and heading to the marina for an evening cruise on the Long Island Sound or spending the day with friends in Port Jefferson or any of the many waypoints from home base that are under 2 hours away.
It’s time to stop imagining and start living your dream. At PowerTime Gold Coast CT, we have multiple membership tiers to fit your schedule and your budget. Don’t worry if you’ve never boated before — we welcome new boaters! All members complete comprehensive on-the-water training with our experienced captains. You will feel confident and empowered when you cruise out of the marina on your maritime adventure.
All our PowerTime Gold Coast boats come fully equipped with twin outboard engines, gallies (kitchen), heads (bathrooms), navigational equipment (electronic and charts), swim platforms, large bow and/or aft sunpads and a cabin for naps or overnight stays.
PowerTime Gold Coast is the only boat club that allows overnight stays, allowing members to combine their reservations into multi-day trips. Our club also has the longest reservation times with up to 7 hours for day reservations and 15 hours for evening reservations!
Sounds great, but how much does it cost? Members get all of this fun, luxury and adventure for ⅓ of what it costs to rent a single engine pontoon boat for half a day — just $195 per outing with our Weekday 7 membership. Want extra weekends? Choose our Classic+ membership at just $350 per outing. Yes, this cost does reflect the seasonality of the Club — with our season running from May 1 thru October 31.
What this per outing cost doesn’t consider is our 36-hour perk. With most membership tiers, members can reserve their boat if it’s available within 36 hours, without using one of their allotted reservations … that’s called a freebie! Members receive extra time for last minute outings for only the cost of the fuel used. If last minute isn’t your thing, don’t worry, PowerTime Gold Coast allows members to have up to 20 reservations in the system at one time — up to a year in advance!
At PowerTime Gold Coast you are part of a community. Your boat is like, well, your boat. You use the same boat each time you go out, like if you leased your car. There is a sense of pride of ownership and community you won’t find at other boat clubs as you get to know the other members who share your boat.
Yearning to take the boat out but don’t have anyone to go with? Our proprietary scheduling app has a feature to request a “crew” member. Other members of the boat will get the notification and can decide to go out with you on your reservation — a win-win! There are also options to swap days and many other unique features like requesting a captain or a Balducci’s picnic lunch delivered to the dock!
Because members get the same number of reservations per month PowerTime members do not have to worry if they will be able to get a boat when they want — your boat is ready when you are! Want to use your reservations when traveling? With PowerTime Plus, you can reserve at any of the other 14 PowerTime club locations across 10 states.
PowerTime Gold Coast memberships are rolling 12-months. So, if you join in August, your membership is good until the end of July the following year! We believe in member choice and transparency. Before the end of your membership, you decide whether to renew, move to another boat in the fleet, or exit the Club.
