Just sold by KMS Partners!

Just sold by KMS Partners! 232 Newtown Turnpike: 13 beautifully landscaped acres with multiple buildings, known as the Byebrook Estate.

The estate, once comprising over 100 acres, was owned by real estate attorney and investor Lawrence Wien.

In the early 1930s, Wien built a hunting lodge on the property, which stands today as the great room of this amazing estate.

Known for pioneering the concept of real estate syndication, the attorney’s most famous purchase — the Empire State Building in 1961, listed his address as Newtown Turnpike in Weston.

The property was sold in the early 1970s to the Pauker family, who enlarged the original structure to accommodate their family. Much of the original 100 acres was sold over time for development.

The most recent development, known as the Byebrook subdivision, consists of the homes built in 1997, along Michaels Way and Hills End Lane. At that time, Byebrook Open Space, a dedicated 8.1 acres, was donated to the Aspetuck Land Trust.

On October 28th, the ownership changed hands again, marking the third largest sale in Weston in the past 10 years. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for Byebrook Estate!
